Our MP’s marooned for saving their own lives- Afghan Sikh and Hindu’s | India News


AMRITSAR: Afghan Sikh and Hindus anger erupted against their two Sikh Member Parliaments (MP) Anarkali Kaur Honaryar and Narender Pal Singh for themselves leaving for India along with their relatives and leaving them behind at the mercy of Taliban.
“Leader sanu chad kay chalay gaye nae’(leaders have left us behind)” said one of the Sikh sheltered in Gurdwara Karte Parwan while talking to TOI after Anarkali and Narender along with their relatives and some close associates boarded the plane to India on Sunday morning.
He said both of them should have shown leadership qualities and had evacuated them first and then taken the last flight to India but they chose to flee like cowards leaving them behind .
A desperate president of Gurdwara Karte Parwan , Kabul, Gurnam Singh said “They (Afghan Sikh politicians ) are playing politics and are not concerned about our lives, we are in grave danger and they have left us ”.
According to sources a total of 24 persons including Anarkali and Narender had left for India.
“For them our lives means nothing “said another Sikh who along with his family is in Gurdwara Karte Parwan.
Much before boarding the plane , Anarkali and Narender had posted messages to social media thanking the Indian government for saving their lives.
